You don’t have to wait until New Year’s Eve to go to a great event at Atlanta’s historic downtown event space. 200 Peachtree is host to a number of great events, one in particular is The Winter White Party taking place December 15th. Like Bungalow Ball NYE, The Winter White Party also contributes a portion of proceeds to charity, the Southern Music Foundation.
Each December the Winter White Party attracts an incredible mix of progressive men and women with a median age between 21 and 45 comprised of students, business professionals, artists, fashionistas & celebrities.
Winter White Party is not a black tie or formal event, however, attendees are encouraged to dress in their most fashionable or outrageous “WINTER WHITE” attire for the most amazingevent of the holiday season.
Winter White Party is an evening of non-stop excitement and socializing, unique entertainment, dancing & holiday cheer with a goal to raise funds and awareness for the most meaningful non-profit organizations which can vary from year to year.
For the last 5 years The Historic Georgian Terrace Hotel which was built in 1911, has hosted Winter White Party consisting of an invitation-only VIP reception just before the main event leading up to the incredible main event at 9 pm. The reception is where recognition is given to the featured non-profit organization, sponsors, entertainers, volunteers everyone involved with executing this incredible event. Due to the popularity and attendance growth, the 2014 event has now moved to Historic 200 Peachtree, another historic landmark building built in 1927 and originally opened as Davisons department store!
The main event is highlighted by live entertainment, dancing to the hottest disc-jockeys, interactive entertainment & most of all, appealing white fashion.
Last year’s event saw just over 1000 attendees and included guest appearances by the Atlanta Falcons cheerleaders, special aerial performances by Liquid Sky, various guestperformers from Cirque de Soleil and magic performed by Joe Turner to name a few.
This year’s 7th Annual Winter White Party is destined to be the largest yet with over 2,000 movers & shakers, celebrities and sponsors expected for Atlanta’s top holiday extravaganza. As a tradition, attendees never know what surprise guests or performers will show up, but it is always exciting!
